Don’t know what you smoke, but I’m much less active when I’m stoned :) |

I must agree. You might like this. :D

Smiling ;-) Sounds like clever mixing to me. I like what you’ve done with snowflake and anchor, and the way you’ve integrated my parts. Fun! I like the ending!
|
.
Glad to make you smile! Super-glad you like what we’ve done w/ ya’. Thanks again, Deb!

Cool jumpy track! But so short :(
Are you in person just as hectic as your music?? |
.
Thanks! Yeah- I suppose it is rather short…
What a good question. I think most would say I’m rather chill. I think I’m most hectic when alone- esp. when working on creative stuff. Although, this mix was done with Rich, so he’s partially to blame. :) |

A nice tableau of Emergence artists. You arranged this big team beautifully.
Nice work, Kara! |
.
Thank you kindly, Zapac! It was fun to cut and past so many different and awesome voices.

The first one was great, but this one’s just excelent
|
.
Thank you, Alex! Honestly, your additions and mix were so awesome that this really wasn’t needed- BUT- I couldn’t resist- it was fun. And we tried to take it to different… galaxy. (Bad joke- I know.)

artistic and well conceived -
love the mixing and splicing - but mostly love the sense of PLAY and FUN apparent in this offering. I wish I knew you in real life! Thanks Mr. Mejans! |
.
Well sheesh! Such a kind and sweet review. Thank you! I must say that a large amount of the mixing and conceiving was Rich (splicing, however, is my specialty).
The wish is mutual. It would be tons of fun collab-ing with you and your amazing voice/ creativity in person. I’m glad you always catch on to the fun… that was definitely the main point with this one. |

I’m feelin’ it. Receiving a retro 80’s new-wave vibe from it. At times it pushes the limits of business, but I’m guilty of the same thing. You put it right out to the edge but it does not drop. Great track!
|
.
Thanks, Fireproof! That’s a totally fair criticism- about pushing the limits… I agree. It kind of feels like it might explode any moment. But then, we thought it made the part where robot snowflake comes in even cooler.
|
|
.
I’m with you…. I’d call it less a criticism than a comparison between us. I respect the musician who takes a chance, rather than the safe route. FB

SO clever and entertaining it knocks me off my feet. You have a very original mind and tons of talent. It’s not fair! xxxx
|
.
…coming from Mz. Silky Smooth Vocals with Razor Sharp Wit who just posted an incredible duet of stunning magnitude… that’s one heck of a compliment. Thank you, Ciggi. (But I can’t take all the credit for this one- Rich is a super-creative music partner.)

Downright fun mix to listen to. A party on the synth bass train. I like the way you pull it into the station at the end.
|
.
Fun metaphor… Thanks, Speck. Glad it was a fun listen!

I think your first mix (with only your voice) is one of the top ten mixes on this site ever and have listened to it so many times so it feels a bit odd for me with this version on steroids. Great mixing (that probably was great fun), though.
|
.
Thanks for your kind words, St. Paul. It’s really nice to know that you enjoy the first version so much. You pegged it- this one really could be called “Emergence SEE on Steroids.” And you’re right- it was a big dose of fun to mix.

Nice mashup. Pretty seamless and linear for such a wide variety of source. Love the subtle use of the Anchor Wail.
|
.
Thanks, MC Jack! Thanks for noticing the Anchor wail, too- that’s one of my fav parts… feels like a wooden roller coaster clicking up a hill…

Not sure how I missed this one. Somehow, I never received an email notification of this (or of your Secret Mixter upload)…
This is a brilliant masterpiece. Very clever mixing. Thanks for including me in this! |
