hmmmmmm good. your drum track is amazingly live sounding — you have some skills!!! nice warm tone on the bass (cant believe that is fretless) and as always, your impeccable guitar work is the heart and soul of the track.

Glad you liked it, even after multiple listens :-)

Mad Dogs and Californians make it real compared to what
|
.
i need a texasradiofish translator for this one.

Translation: Reminds me of Leon Russell’s early work as a producer, composer and arranger “Mad Dogs and Englishmen” with some Les McCann-type E-piano styling. Hence, the reference to one of Les’ popular songs what “Make It Real Compared to What”.
If you’re not familiar with Les McCann http://www.youtube.com/watc... |

Whoa, so mean! I got baby funklets moving up my spine.
Seriously what did you use for the drums? I have tuned mine and varied the side to try to get your sound but this blows it all away. It really pushes this track over the top! |
.
It’s a drum kit in hydrogen. I like the snare sound a lot. sounds like it’s panned across a stereo field. Not sure how they did that. Two mics? hmmm…
anyway, glad you like it! thanks |
