We’re both talking about Impulse, right? I’m not really up to speed on 6’s new features.

If so, then it’s quite simple, you just take whatever sounds you want and drag them over those little boxes on the device. Each sample slot has it’s own set of parameters. A good place to start would be with one of the presets (I think they call em “kits”) and mess around with all the little knobs. I found the manual to be rather intimidating, but it does help.

For this track I loaded the same sample into each slot and used the “transpose” knob to make them all play back at a different pitch.

Then I just created a basic, 2 bar midi clip, and moved the notes around manually while recording the results.
