On a musical level, I totally love the rhythm track. That’s so cool, it will be used in other places, I’m sure.
Regarding the question of whether we live in a novel or in a diagram, I humbly offer a third alternative: We’re just watching clouds giving names and meaning to fleeting shapes of condensed droplets or frozen crystals. |

I definitely agree with Spinmeister (and I don’t always ;-) ). That is a cracking good rhythm track you have created. Makes me want to write something that has some rhyme and rhythmic structure. I like the way Whip Snapper’s piece fits in against it a lot.
Of course, as usual, your notes frame the possible interpretation of the piece beautifully. The whole idea of loves that are lost to time and then found again, whether in memory or in real meetings is an interesting one. Do we ever really stop loving them? I submit we do not, that our love for them shapes our hearts and that our hearts grow bigger to accommodate all the other loves that enter our lives, in every shape, form and type. We need to love deeply and richly in the moment and not in a static way over time. Our unruly characters are there to keep us honest in so doing. Thanks for this G. |

This reminds me of Raymond Scott’s later electronic work- I definitely agree with spin and essesq’s praise. The rhythm and overall tone is just busy enough to focus on the context of the samples, well-balanced indeed! Many icicles drop and shatter in cascades, on an unusually warm February afternoon.

Very creative indeed. It reminds me somewhat of African click singing. Thanks for using my poem.
