By the way panu, have you heard my version with your guitar?
(Feel free to respond with ‘yeah, didn’t care for it’. I can take it.)

Here’s how it went:
1st listen - Ouch. Stop.
2nd listen - Made it all the way to the end, smiled and thought well I suppose it has a certain ‘charm’.
3rd listen - Nah, I can’t.

None of this has to do with your talent, which is considerable, but rather with being confronted with just how bad I sing. (Unless of course you have done something pitch-wise to the vocal, because frankly I don’t remember it sounding quite that bad.)

The minimalist approach works well — had no idea you were such a fine banjo picker either. That was mighty fine banjo picking indeed.

wonderful banjo work Alex (is that you playing?). i can imagine sitting around a campfire deep in the Appalachians listening to you play and Speck sing. will you upload your banjo separately when you get a chance? :)

I like this. I dig the minimalist approach for sure. So cool to hear you banjoing… I like hearing Speck’s voice out front like this… it focuses the ears on the lyrics. Annnnnd… I love his singing. So…

Interesting. I like that stringed instrument. Cool lyrics, too.
