Nnniiiiiiicccceeee! That rhythm lick you got going on the hook is ssssoooo sweet! Damn good job overall, man! The mix? I little muffled but it sounds like you were fading away into dreamland so all is forgiven! You could always post another mixing attempt! That always seems to be the hardest part for myself, too! Looking forward to the stems, Sir! And sweet dreams! :)

Yikes, hearing the mix through speakers today instead of headphones last night I can tell how bad it is… definitely gonna try another mix. Thanks for listening though!

OK, new mix is uploaded. This one is much better IMHO. Had to tone down the bassline quite a bit as it was drowning out a lot of the other parts. I guess I just couldn’t hear all the bass through my headphones last night. Lesson learned.

This is a great soul mix, with the comping strat and electric piano, that would be perfectly at home in the year 1991 (which was a great year for clear eyed soul music!)
