let me say I smiled several times during this (like around 1:30) because the harmonic movement and overall feel of the arrangement is really great — the production sounds like there’s maybe 2fx too many and that distracts from the emotional impact this mix coult have.

Sounds quite awesome - I agree exactly with fourstones - the part toward 1:30 has a neat effect. I don’t think you mentioned this one to me when you made it! :)

I’ve got this niggling feeling it could go for just one bar more, though the effect as is, is understandable.

And I’m thinking more bass rather than less FX.. In other words, I LOVE the feel of this song, the way the bass interacts with the other elements, etc., but would loose much of this if I turned off my subwoofer’s mega bass-boost.

LOL, OTOH I could say that about most of my other favorites too :)
