it’s such a treat to hear all the remixes of timberman’s vocal track. i think yours accented some hidden melodic and rhythmic elements in it. the build up wasn’t greedy either, just what the track needed. very enjoyable.

Yeah, I know. I almost feel like I’m a real singer.

Very beautiful. I really like what you did with the vocals. (Ed picked.)

once timberman wrote the melody to this poem and deciphered its hook the cycle of re-telling began. thanks for telling it with such thoughtfulness in your own eminently skillful way & congrats on the well-deserved ed pick.

Hey Martyn, you know I’m a fan of your music so getting a notification about this remix made me happy. This is fantastic craftmanship and it’s an excellent display of your musicality and it’s got your signature sound that I like so much. The harmonies and the intelligent chord chart makes me think of classical composers (Bach or Handel) and later pop-interpreters of their style like Procol Harum or McCartney. But the feather-light touch of this arrangement is nothing they could have made because this is 100% Airtone territory. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.

I already loved timberman’s vocals and panu’s words, so I was pretty sure I’d dig this. What I didn’t know is that I would be so very emotionally moved… Your musical treatment brings out the heart. Congrats on the Ed. Pick!

That backing vocals sound to Timberman’s lead throughout is so tastefully subtle I’m not sure if it’s even there or if I’m imagining it. Fascinating. Nice piece.

yes you heard right, there’s a second vocal track with a vocoder using the chords from the main synth as the carrier signal.
