Awesome. I really dig this. Modal, spacious, with tons of feel. And some beautiful phrasing on the piano & bass. Also, the sound of the fretless is fantastic.

Thanks Javo, appreciated. Yes, totally in love with my new bass. It’s a very nice vintage Fender jazz bass copy. Japan, early 80’s.

That’s great! Actually, the best electric guitar I ever had was a 1980s Japanese (Tokai) copy of a Fender Telecaster. Regrettably I sold it when short of cash. A sadly familiar story! :-)

Sad… yes. They are getting very popular now. Someone once told me ‘the wood is now old enough to know it’s a bass’. Guess it’s the same for guitars.
