why do I get the feeling that the singer is still enjoying herself despite the diaspora,distance,disbelief (or any other “di” words)that she may not be happy in the land of manicured lawns? Nice song too -your voice sounds great - I had an impression of a more mature, existential Belinda Carlisle - having had an epiphany and achieving some transcendental (albeit resigned)understanding of Life’s ups and downs…A Mothergoose of a different color. The vox performance is really good and the manicured lawn looks nice as well!!

Of course the vox and lyrics are a wonderful treat, but the production really stood out here for me- lots of subtle touches, and not a trace of sonic flab to be found. There’s a self-assuredness and cohesiveness to this that shines.

I liked it. A little bassless and rare, but with a nice feel.
I like the melody, Somehow it reminds me to the “crying game” from boy george, gives me that nostalgic kinda feel. I love the songs that produce feelings.
Tech issues: For me the voice is a little louder.
