Great melody with the intended feelings flowing through my headphones freely. Thanks for posting the bt. A perfect crooning opportunity, I promise I’ll be sensitive to the topic and dedication.

Really very nice-Ivory does sound good—my only pic would be that I would have loved to hear more of the vocals—-for me the part at the end is the best, just a really nice sound and atmosphere you have created that works really well with brads vocals but just as I was getting into it it stopped, but Its beautiful and I do mean that.

Hi Audiotechnica
Regarding the vocals. I’ve been playing with the idea of leaving Brads vocals in, or to take it out and only leave the last part in as ending, reminding you of the world cruel words -‘life goes on and it is not waiting for anybody’, and create a nice ending. Brads vocals worked will in the main parts of the song, but I couldn’t really decide what is better, piano or combining both Piano and Vocals. Maybe I must do another remix of this with all the vocals sections in :) Thanks for the cool comment, and yup, Ivory is a really nice grand piano sound. |

I like the vocals as they are, if there were more I wouldn’t miss them :) To me that is the point in this kind of music - to give just about enough vocals to tickle the imagination of listener, but not to much to make it mainly vocal song. This way the piano is in first plan along with pads, and you just can’t wait to hear those vocals at the end and that’s what makes them more powerful than they would be in first plan.

I agree with Sonic. That was the main idea of the song from the start :) to use the vocals to control your imagination and at the end bring the listener back to reality, and not turn the song into a vocal song - vocals tend to control your imagination, where this song gives you the opportunity to create your own story while listening to the melody, but we bring you back at the end with Brads vocals. Some of the vocal section I added is to create a more dreamy state, while the last part is mainly to bring the listener back. I have to say, it’s was a battle for me to decide if I should make it all vocals or just enough to trigger your imagination. And then end result was to leave out all the vocals and use just certain sections, either to create a dream state or to bring you back. |

Love it! Floating pads, gentle piano, and the vocals fit in perfectly! Very artistic, I love the fact there’s no rhythm, the piano itself gives just enough rhythmics.

Hi Sonic
Thx for the awesome comments I am glad you like the song, and I tried not to add drums, so that the audience focus more on the flow of the piano, and the last part some vocals to bring them back to reality :) The floating pad is added to create a warmer feeling of that someone you lost but is still close, and the piano is to bring back some memories. |
