Solid beat. Nice intro drone. Perhaps the melody and harmony are somewhat conservative, but it fits well with the vocals, as you’ve mentioned. Poem adds another dimension to the song.

i like the way this is constructed, after melissa´s spoken word finishes, the song lifts up a notch and i really like the way it progresses to that. Its an ambient peice of music, that I can see on a documentary or tv show. I just like the way it starts in a subdued way and builds up, especially the expert drum programming.

This is really nice. I’m not sure what this “genre” is - but I really like this spoken word theatre-hop kinda thing. Fun, insightful, earnest.
