Susannah Kelly, unfortunately disappeared from this website. Typical beautiful irish singing and beautiful irish voice sound, yet a lot out of tune and time in the original.

Your drum loops are super! You are not a part of it, you are the foundation of it.

Great track here. Nice use of samples and you picked the perfect pella to put on top of it. Love it.

Thank you, copperhead (I didn’t forget: the original pella is not anymore accessible from the sources search, I think Susannah must have removed it).

That’s a shame. It’s always good to make a folder, as I have learned, just in case. Nice to see you in the Secret Mixter :)

I get a great sense of joy from this, it is like a musical summers day (what summers used to be like, not like the constant rain we get in summer in the uk at the moment)
Top track!

Thank you umm, sunny 30°C here in Italy, loud loudspeaker in the lounge and windows open to the park.

Absolutely lovely! Delightful. Delicious. The rhythm track is popilicious, and the sitar lends one of my favorite summery feelings. Bravissimo!

yes! you’re right. I called it a melody keyboard in the comment and how-I-did-it, while it is actually a synth sound based on real sitar samples (but chromatic and with no slides).
I also did a perceptual experiment in the beginning, mixing the sitar melody very low so that there’s an initial mess (even because there’s no bass reference), you don’t get the melody even if you should have a generic impression of “shimmer”. But if you listen to the song a second time soon after the first one, you hear the melody now because it has emerged in the following period and you got used to it so your brain follows that.

I had the intention to build a number of tracks as easy pop, but I confess this should be the last for some time

You have such an incredible pop sensitivity, Carosone. Fantastic remix of Super Sigil. Wonderful pella choice. Such a happy melody!

Thanks Kara, next time I think I will change genre. I’m glad you’re here as well, with Susan and Emily, my inspiring muses.
