I would say that your 12-string experimentation is definitely a success! I love this mix — the groove, the sonic and performance tone of all the elements, the melodic, tasty, restrained guitar solo, and how you treated the vocals. Thanks for using my pella.

(I realize you just uploaded this track moments ago…but for the record, I am not a stalker — I just happened to be doing my routine ccmixter rounds when this popped up.)

yes, yes. very original & great playin’ on this fine mix. reminded me a little of john mc laughlin back when he was playin’ Scomber’s double-neck. a hungry producer would have to look far & wide to find a more talented group of female singer/songwriters than we have right now on ccM. bless them for their inspiration.

There is an abundance of talent here at ccM. I build guitars as a hobby - I actually built a scalloped fret electric a few years back.

Somehow, when I play it, I don’t sound like John McLaughlin - back to the drawing board I guess.

Could you make me a quad neck; 5 string bass, six string electric, mandolin and banjo? It would have to have a balsa body so it didn’t turn me into a hunch back and I could get back up when I fell over on stage.
Plus I’d need room to tie a set of cymbals to my knees.
Great mix Briareus with just enough whah for my liking. Fits with the pell very nicely.

My formative years were filled with images of Jimmy Page’s double neck - still seems cool to me.

Yet one more unfulfilled fantasy…
