Hell, this is great. I didn’t expect such an upbeat number from those dreary lyrics, but listening to this gives me a certain satisfaction.

khidir’s right, there’s nothing upbeat about the lyric. but you get major style points for doin’ something unexpected with the song. the melody & chord chart are classic 60’s pop with a very cool latin street party feel. people’s lives go on regardless of the world around them. thanks very much, great track!

For me, the unlikely combination of the lyrics and mood of the music works really well, I don’t know why!
