About Me
Passkal group was born on 2003 opening its sound by the exit of “NETTARE EP” record on label “Presslab”.
PASSKAL group is composed as follows:
Francesco Passantino DJ SINCE 1994 and Davide Calì produtctor since 1992.
Very good friend since childhood, they began to work together in discographic field creating many productions come out through variuos labels, among them : Subway Records, Mammut, Electrik, Right Tempo, Presslab, Whole (Media Recoprds), In-lite, Spectra Records, .ecc
Some of their works go up to many international dj’s parade and radios like : Italia Network, Radio DeeJay etc.
They’ve been cooperating with: F.Zappalà, M.Baroni(Planet Funk), M.Gurrieri, G.D’agostino, D.Gas, Omar J, L. Rosi, A. Sorrenti,
Gak Sato, Rocco Pandiani ecc.
In 1999 they found together with Roberto Bonini a live-group called “Air kraft Vision, basing on midi-sequences self-created
live mixed, by using three Roland MC-303,un Roland MC-505,un Roland JP-8000, Roland TR-909, Roland TB 303, Alesis Studio 32 and by proposing a sound varying from tecno to house music with several flash into electronic ambient.
They play live in many places and events, like: TaZ, Red Zone, Happyland, Cocoricò, Club Imperiale, Movida,Taverna Jory
TntKamasutra, Nottalba, Cage, Free Spirit, The West, Hyper,just to name some of them.
As regards records production beyond the above mentioned label, they found their own label the “electrik” together with f.gatto & C. Ridolfi (dance-work). Besides they realized “la danse de la pluie” with F.Zappala on Minimali Stik label and “Automatic lover rmx” in label Eletrik.
On 2003 Francesco Zappalà decided to create the project SpostaMenti following Davide Cali’s live experience (Synth and key) and Francesco Passantino’s (groove and mixer). Its absolut debut was at “distorsione Futurmusic fair festival 2003” at the Link of Bologna. So they bore a live-act integrated with the most modern CD emulations and their new spectacular potentiality being inspired by the more classic technics of “CUT AND SCRATCH” to give life to unic sessions.
The high grade of improvisation makes this performance absolutely unrepeatable. On 2004 rises “Tractorecords” with
its first vinil exit “fd - tractor town ep” followed by cd album “Electronic house”. Besides comes out the vinil “Paskal - save your dream” on Presslab label with Omar J’s remix.
On 2005 they keep with productions on Tractorecors label: cooperating with F. Zappalà and M di Cicco and exits “Spostamenti”- Prohibition EP , becoming quite famous abroad .
Then they make the CD Album “Passkal- CRIMINAL FARM” with 10 audio trace and interactive cd rom.
the cd exits keep on with Davide cali - biological” with video trace, by proposing a tecno minimal sound.
