Uses samples from:

Samples are used in:

Tools I Used

I build delay based patches in Max/MSP to create variable sound-material to use in the composition.
Furthermore I used reverbs and reversed reverbs which were also processed in the Max/MSP patch.

Samples I Used

The sample used for this assigment, male_Thijs_loud_scream.aiff , also available at freesound, was recorded in 2001 for some special effects for a liveroleplaying game in which I helped with sound-fx and foley for short animations...
Thijs, a friend, showed the person who was doing some screaming samples, 'how to do it'. So... currently there's only 'one' Thijs-sample in my collection...

Original Samples

Quite a lot of the results from my Max/MSP-patches ended up in the final composition. Is anyone could/would find any use in having these, just let me know, I'll put some online...

Process

Finally everything was composed in Logic Express 7

Other Notes

I found it very interesting working on such a project with only so little material and with the use of only limited (delay based) effects.
These assignments of course are thanks to Jorrit Tamminga, the teacher who invents and explains these assignments.
