How I Did It

Tools I Used
Fender P-Bass, Alesis Keytar, Garageband
Samples I Used
I used the drum part, and the harmony synth for "Spring Evening"
Original Samples
I played a bass and Rhodes part.
Process
I softened up the harmony synth with a low pass filter. Then I played the Rhodes part - I tried putting in the lead synth part, but it got too busy.
I played a bass part on the keytar, and I wasn't quite finding it with a synth bass. So I pulled out a real bass and got it in one take.
Other Notes
Geoff is just a really interesting musician, lots of neat textures and directions in the parts that can be taken even further.
I wanted to make something suitable for a Youtube video soundtrack, because I. really enjoy that particular use of the remixes I work on. Hopefully that happens.
