How I Did It

Samples are used in:
Tools I Used
This was a totally digital work. Every sound is either my computer or an online library. Remember MOD files? Remember NoiseTracker? Yeah. I decided to indulge my inner Apple geek and engage in some mindlessly repetitive looping of drum sounds. Though I didn't actually drag out my Apple IIgs, there were times that it felt like the old days.
Samples I Used
From the Freesound crew, we have:
pitx - Grito 08.wav
alonsomd - bombo_leguero5
Heigh-hoo - street_drummers
Myself - twrrl_beep_beep_beepeep.wav, chrrrip_chp_chp_chp.wav, and referee_whistle
The drum and bass guitar loops were built up out of old samples.
(The drums are too grotty to put up, I think)
Oh yeah, the vocal track from "Sanidade", of course, which was from here on ccMixter.
Original Samples
Nothing, nada, zip, zero. It's all layered library files and some extras from my fellow Freesounders.
Process
CoolEdit, CoolEdit, CoolEdit, and Audition for the final conversion to WAV and MP3.
Other Notes
Eh, I put it together in an afternoon, so it was more a "rainy day" project. I'm still trying to figure out what people are wanting to hear on this site.
