Original Samples
A compy guitar part, a drum part, an organ, piano, and 8th note bass line.
Process
I clicked on a thing called "songwriting" in GarageBand, specified 100 BPM, and replaced the stock drum beat they added in with something I did on the Akai LPD8. Then I took the NanoKey (which is a one foot long MIDI controller), and put down the bass, piano, and organ. Then I hooked up the iRig, plugged in the guitar, and played with a few sounds, settling on a Fender amp type of sound.
Other Notes
I just have to experiment sometimes with music. It is like breathing.
