This has gone through so many iterations, it finally started coming together when I got part of the main theme on lead guitar and bass after which I completed a verse.
Once I had the verse, I worked out the chords amd from them the bell sequence that plays throughout. Its in 6/8 time.
Then taking parts of the theme I made the chorus which is in 8/8 time.
Other Notes
Probably been working on this for 9 months. I wanted a tune that was both oppressive and rich, like a strange dream. With little phrases that are a little off. Many suspended, 9th, 11th and maybe 13th chords. No augmented chords or diminished chords which makes the tune thick and sweet.
Because of the instrument stacking there were many conflicting frequencies, equalisation, compression, limiting.
