Process
The usual method:
- take a midi file, preferably one with multiple tracks,
- if it hasn't got multiple tracks copy the file, maybe delete notes here and there
- load unusual/unlikely instruments into your sampler
- if the instrument's range is not the same, ie. smaller than the file's, consider using additional ones to cover the entire range (not mandatory, omission is part of the technique)
- it doesn't have to be a sampler, could be severals synths of different presets of one synth
- use your imagination
