Samples I Used
Every attempt was made to use only (cc)BY materials. The rainstorm sample (fantastic quality) is from Derek Holz via Sound transit (www.turbulence.org/soundtransit) which simply lists all materials as (cc)BY 2.0. Otherwise they all came from here on ccMixter....
Original Samples
None. I resisted temptation and this is a "pure" remix, though of many sources.
Process
Reaper is a great splice tool. Audacity is a quick waveform touch-up tool. This was all very, very basic. The only trick was calculating 92 BPM as the base and time-aligning to that early when setting up tracks.
Other Notes
For the first week, I apologized to myself thinking "my mind doesn't work this way." After that it became fun.
