Tools I Used

FL Studio 10, a bunch of samples, midi keyboard, and a piano orchestra daw that I have no clue where I found or what it's actually called.

Samples I Used

All my samples are either CC0 or CC Attribution.

I've used DaveMerrick's vocal samples.
Reverse coin, and deep ambience samples from freesound.org's LloydEvans09.
Looperman loop from HardstyleRythm.
And a few other fx samples I had lying around. (And some from VIPZone).

Original Samples

The lead instrument loop, a few drums. (Why so little explained in Other notes).

Process

Placed DaveMerrick's intro vocal.
Created lead melody.
Created strings.
Added drums.
Added Orchestral Staccs.
Split track for "Wait..." vocal.
Added Deep Ambience.
Added Tron-like guitar riff.
Added Guitar pluck.
Removed strings.
Added final effects.
Stereo separated and merged
certain channels.

***
Still need to alter EQ
for the project.

Other Notes

This first started out as a back beat for an acapella. That didn't work out quite well. I wanted to try practicing using SliceX on samples (which is why there are a lot of them) and see what I could do. It came out well, until I accidentally deleted the sliced notes and then listened to it, but, it came out better than with the sliced notes.
