FL Studio "9.waiting for 10"
Process
Was working on Red Light aka TRF's "Waiting for You" in the key of B. It was sounding too weird wrt well supporting the vocals.
Tried Red Light with the R&B jazz gospel approach in F# and it was happy http://ccmixter.org/files/texasradiofish/40632
As a second version, tried using the groove machine on Red Light version in B. It still sucked.
Swapped 4nisc's Our Father for Helena Jesele's Red Light; we be groovin'.
ElRon put his guitar thing down on both Red Light remixes (B and F#). In this case, his guitar didn't know or care what vocal was in the final mix.
Although we took a circuitous route to arrive at the Our Father mix, we are pleased that the result is mo' better than its genesis.
Other Notes
Why do we call songs remixes?
They are still original songs created by the .... ah .... remixer.
