How I Did It
Uses samples from:

Roland TD-6, Fender Bass, cabasa, bongoes, Sonar
Samples I Used
All samples from Shannon Hurley's "Overboard" except the bass and second harmonies.
Original Samples
Added full bass line, and loops of cabasa, bongoes, and drums.
Process
I pretty much just started with Shannon's lead vocal and guitar parts, and imagined my own bass and percussion to that. Then I added the vocal harmonies, tripled for effect. Pieced in the glock afterwards.
Other Notes
I haven't heard the original mix, so I'm not sure how my remix compares.
Also, this mix was an exercise to make sure all my SW still worked after a reinstall of my OS. Success!
