Uses samples from:

Tools I Used

I recorded this in Quartz Studio, and quickly mixed it there. Spent a bit more time mastering than mixing, actually. I used UpStereo to widen the mix a tad, and carefully limited it, so as to not sap the dynamics.

Samples I Used

I used Bill Ray's "Reggae" which is licensed NC-Attrib I believe. I noticed nobody had ever done anything with it, and as a sample guy myself, I know there's nothing more discouraging than seeing your work just sit there.

Original Samples

Included in this upload are the instrument samples.. to match the drums they had to be played the old fashioned way. The lead guitar is a Les Paul, the rhythm a 1972 Stratocaster, both into a Fender Twin. The piano is a rhodes style, and the bass is a P-Bass.

Process

I didn't cut and paste at all... I just played all the way through and kept everything.

Other Notes

Bill's drum part is awesome, and I've added my parts in case anyone else wants to play.
