Process
The first track, "Now It's really time to pump this party", was prepended to the original interview. All other tracks were looped, then sequenced with blank gaps to align with portions of the interview.
Other Notes
Rather than taking the interview apart, I built this piece around the interview, creating an overall derivative work that sets the mood according to what I felt was appropriate to the content of the interview.
This is the type of remix that I plan to do with my own podcasts.
This is also a trans-border remix. The interview was recorded in Toronto, the remix was done in Porter County, Indiana.
