Process
First ran the acapella through beatmapper tool and fixed the BPM of the project then selected drum track by ear and added bass. Filled in using percussion and some strings, guitar and piano samples. Then I used a flute sample as the lead in and filler.
Once I had the music, I turned to the vocals and created added effects using two separate tracks to create a vocal spread. Lastly created the volume envelopes and rendered to MP3.
Other Notes
Took me just an hour to create the first cut. Felt extremely pleased with the result but nervous about the reception it would get in public forum.
