A forgin fire. A nine pound hammer. An anvil. A bellows. And a piece a raw, molten, steel.
Samples I Used
A video of guy skydivin from an airplane whose chute don't open and he plummets 11,000 feet to the ground and lands in a pond and comes out without a scratch.
Original Samples
Well, I whistled while I played some of it, ifn that's what ya mean.
Process
A 1960s model Waring Blender, filled with Gin, a raw egg, and a day old cheeseburger. Set to "Puree".
Other Notes
Creating this work made me pensive, sanguine and filled me with a sense of wonder and dread. I might have. . .but cain't be sure. . .wet my pants during the process.
