Hello! We recorded this with my laptop in Siargao Island here in the Philippines, right beside the mountains. You may hear some cicadas and birds and the ambient sounds of the mountains!

So many people who come here from other places - walk in the islands and behave like they are unanointed kings of the land. They have very little regard for the people around them and take the world as their own, with no hesitations, without blinking.

I think it’s the entitlement to walk and exist somewhere, even if it’s a foreign land, and behave as if they’ve always just been there and the attitude of ownership.

I love connecting with people from all over the world. I think it’s beautiful they get to see the Philippines and appreciate the beauty of it. That includes its people. We are not subservient to whims and we don’t need to bend to fit your desires. This is one earth AND it is also the land of the Filipinos, too. Respect of the land needs to be observed outwardly. Gratitude needs to be seen and felt.
