Whats Inside
I grabbed this great backing track unreal_dm had within the stems. Joe Rogers and Jeff Pinkard helped write the lyrics. I brought in Robert Siekawitch for some excellent guitar work and had the good common sense to ask Alex Beroza to mix this cool tune..I am on the road so I will upload the vocals when I get in this weekend!!! Enjoy!
Lyric What’s inside your heart babe what’s inside your soul? I can’t get to the bottom of you I can’t tell when your hot or cold Do you really need me do you really care You always seem to please me But are you really there chorus What’s inside what’s inside of you? I just want to know your heart What’s inside what’s inside of you? Can you let me in let our love begin? I just need to know so our love can grow What’s inside what’s inside of you I haven’t scratched the surface Of what’s inside of you Our love this burning furnace Is it honest is it true I don’t know where it’s is going I do love where it’s been I don’t know where it’s going What’s inside what’s within? Do I really know you do I really care Girl you have to tell me Let’s be honest lets be fair

Editorial pickMaking the most of talents around cMixter (Alex and unreal_dm) Steve does good. Unabashedly pop, unflinchingly commercial, and unquestionably great. This hearkens back to the 80s, when artists like Huey Lewis and Clapton used reggae colouring to make pretty pop songs. And Steven’s great vocals and catchy hook will get you singing along.
