This is a rather tasteless rap about economic disaster hitting the UK!

land’s end, john o’ groats, betws y coed
the word is out
sterling void
your wealth and savings
all destroyed
now everyone knows
that sterling’s void
all the bank of england’s gold
bent politicians they have sold
assets gone and debts sky high
the pound’s as dead
as princess di
bankers meet from south and north
to hurl themselves from canary wharf
english, scottish, welsh or pole
they’ll be no wages, pensions or dole
bodies pile up in the street
people kill their pets for meat
and when the pets have all been ate
folk will munch upon their mates
england’s fields torn up by tracks
of home made tanks like in mad max
prepare yourself
no time to lose
stock your pad with potent booze
the end is here
the game is over
spare the pain
and don’t be sober
