Mind Map That’s pells are a world all their own - exploring them has been a gift. I was amazed when I pulled Kara, as I’ve been in her head space for a couple of months now. Poetic. Through her music alone, I sense she is a kindred soul.

This little piece feels dark yet somehow hopeful — Mikey Burnz on the MiC adds that dash of love and light. Thanks to spinningmerkaba for playing an amazing fretless bass track (one take - only edit is in beginning) — he also provided the drum track that comes in in the middle of the second chorus.

The framework of this track is built upon the ‘Stupid People’ loop by Speck. The song was just Kara and Speck for the first week! Bitcrusher’s mind-bending loop brings the song home.

I’ve missed out on listening so far because I can’t stop messing with this mix. I still have so much to learn (and don’t yet really know how to use my toys - thanks to Abstract Audio for trying to teach me how to use a compressor properly - i’m trying!).
