Wow, Twenty years of ccMixter, 16 years for me.

Congratulations to the admins, developers and everyone else who has made this site happen for the last twenty years.. I know the site doesn’t run by itself!

But its all about the content. That great music found here. 20 years of it.

And its about that implied invitation that is baked into every sample - ready to transform into something entirely different and then build on that again.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

This applies to our shared songs, our community, our World.

I still love setting up a playlist while im working and keep it “playing in the background.”

Big props to Radioontheshelf, otherwise know as “Radiotimes” in a previous life…
(before his voice broke and he discovered he could sing!).

I loved listening to all your stuff mate, but ended up building up a song around your appropriately tiltled track “Is it too early to panic?”. You were entirely correct!

Sol came in and joined the party because sadly, neither RT or myself can rap. Speck also saved me plenty of calories by putting together that roll call.
