Just heard raja_fmm’s killer remix using the same pella. Which is way better than my one. Well, the story of my life… ;)

Ok, let me tell you (as usual) a little bit about the creation of this remix. This one should have become a Deep House song. So the failure is pretty obvious. I started playing with a drum kit from Ableton live that was pretty deep housish but I did not like the piano. So I tried to create one with Vital (failed). Tried various download, but none fitted to my idea of what everything should sound like.

My next try were the vocals. Found this one and it was way to complex for me. But there was this nice little piece that could be my hook. I timestretched the vocals to be better on beat, created some melody that fits the vocals and the the flow started.

One uncommon thing is the intro. The idea is to teaser the whole song, just the way streaming services forced musicians to produce their songs such that they bind the listeners quickly and long enough to get some money.

The last thing I added was a pretty downpitched version of the vocal. It is barely recognizable but adds a nice deep touch. Which was missing before - and I haven’t even noticed it’s absence. ;)
