This is a tribute to Colin Mutchler, but also to Dokashiteru. Dokashiteru took Colins pella and they made one of my alltime favorites here on ccmixter. And I guess a favorite of many other people too. A real hit. Its a track that still fascinates me. Its driving, but somehow melancholic, a blend of pop and alternative rock. You should take a listen if you dont know it. So I just did a reprise. With many thanks to Bill Ray, the best drummer I ever had in a band.

Editorial pickWhat I like best on this track is that Hans Atom managed to eq everything a way that Colin’s vocal sound so fragile that you can’t do anything but listen to what he has to say. And the moment the organ and the second guitar enter the chorus…wonderful ! Siobhan Dakay
