I was doing a tutorial on Pentatonic Scale and came up with this nice little melody that I enjoyed a lot. I then started searching CCMixter and found a very suitable pella by Mo, but it wasn’t in the same key. A lil’ melodyne and it was perfectly in tune with the piece I put together, however I ended up ditching the original melody and made something that was more fitting for the vocal. Also one the things I had heard of past mixes is that my vocals sound too wet to some so I really tried my best to ensure that these were more dry. Ciggi your vocals are wonderful and I really appreciated working with this one; thanks for making so many great pellas available. This has been one of the most enjoyable tracks I have ever worked on.
