So I finally got around to finishing a mix of the “Rose” pella, and was going to post it. I couldn’t remember who submitted it, and it didn’t show up in a search for “rose” (which was obviously in its title). I remembered that Briareus also posted a remix, so I went to his remix http://ccmixter.org/files/B... and his remix no longer links to the pella. So now what do I do? I don’t have a sample/pella to link to in my remix submission.

I recall correctly, I do believe that vocal was actually uploaded by Neurowaxx (called “My Rose”) and it looks like it has been deleted. You can certainly give attribution in your description. I don’t know what the “rule” is for uploading mixes using tracks that have been deleted — but clearly, you downloaded the pell prior to it being deleted so you could work with it. Maybe as a stop gap, just link to any Neurowaxx track? Clarification from the higher ups welcome.
