i got a budget of around £250.oo-£300.00 quid,any suggestions for a decent pair of monitors in that price range ..countin on u guys ta save me wastin ma money on any over hyped trash an some sales person jus lookin to get my hard earnt cash ;-) thanx guys n gals.

For nearfields, I like Yamaha but KRK always rates high for price vs performance tests.

But of course it’s all a matter of opinion, personal taste and budget.

B&W 600 series..a used pair is in your price range, mine are old and still sound great..lots of good choices in that series as well..these are great speakers..put them on stands, away from the wall, and listen to your “mistakes”.

or a pair of auratones, make that one..punch several holes in the cone..now you have the equivalent of what 95% of the world listens to your mix on..
