People often submit five or ten cuts at once, which dominates the "what’s new" aspect of the front page.

Might it be good to only show one of the new items on the front page? (Of course, the detailed history should show ‘em all!)

I think these are two different problems.

Dominating our servers is one.

Dominating the front page is another.

For the latter I was thinking that only actual remixes of Mixter content would make it to the front page, not original songs.
