While it is very easy to get caught up in the seriousness of artistic intent, sometimes the sounds are just so much fun! The sonic references to psych pop are delightful! And I must acknowledge the “explosion,” that came in just when it was supposed to!

The 60s west coast vibe captures me, and I’m reminded of an inland inn northeast of San Francisco, of winter chill and warmed water,
of fog and the smell of grilling vegetables, of the empty sound of night and the slight bustle of day, of a man I met whose problems weighed him down, and his dog, who loved him anyway. Fresh, fun mix. |
