very, very impressive combination of source material. the intro with the slide guitar is immediately captivating. and that driving rhythm track pulls me in. you’ve done some very cool editing, placement and treatment of the vocals. and when that deep bass line enters — awesome. the ending is brilliant! you’ve transported me into the open air where i experience the bliss of freedom.

Everyone before me is pretty darn articulate aren’t they? Not sure I could capture my impressions any better — but I do find this track to be particularly fun. I love the sound of the rhythm track — the bell is a great detail. I am particularly fond of the sound/feel you have going on here — funky, acoustic with an unexpected twist (kind of like Tom Waits). Bravo on a well conceived and executed mix!
