Very cool combination of instruments! I mostly use VST’s only because I don’t know how to play the real stuff. Moving the starting point of the trumpet gives it a complete new feeling. Like.

Thanks so much for taking the time to listen and write a review. I really appreciate it. It is cool to know we’ve both been working with the same sounds, oceans apart. :)

Wow ! multi instrumentalist (like Prince).
Sounds groovy. I like the arrange , exotic and modern.

P.S. with little bit of EQ is gonna sound better,
If you cut some frequency from the bass and different one from the kick drum ,
both is gonna become more audible (e.g.80 Hz from the kick and 100 Hz from the bass or vise versa)
Also use a high pass filter and cut everything below 100 Hz from other instruments. Finally, everything below 25 Hz .

Thank you *so much* for this detailed feedback. I did some EQ adjusting but not sure I did it correctly, or enough of it. Definitely not my strong suit. Thank you again for taking the time to give me real review points that I can use to improve my mixing. (Prince, I wish!)

no VST’s? no midi? no frets?

What’s the world coming to! ;-)

p.s. Are these ladies on your radar?
