Lots of layering, which create some fine and interesting textures without becoming muddy.

Holy crap, you are on fire! Love the build up. You’ve almost gone commercial with this one. ;)

I just can’t get enough of it, lol - I’m playing it in a loop right now. I think thumbs up isn’t enough, so I nominate it to my personal track of the month.

i try to make things high in replay value. in this case, it was just a matter of putting great pieces together.

This is absolutely terrific. Feels like a bit of a change in pace for you - but only just. It has that same septahelix sound/build-up while exploring new grounds in making it (dare I say it) more accessible to listeners.

Which is not the same as easy listening, mind you. :)

I love it. Excellent work.

thanks. i was fishing freesound, and the vocal sample reminded me of those old, simple, funny little electronic songs i remember hearing. like the hamster one.

You found some great vocals there, and did just right with them. Sounds a little less jam-packed than some you’ve done, and therefore cleaner? With all the cool intact. Nice breaks and sound dynamics. I’m tempted to say your best work yet, oh, well, there, I’ve said it now.

thanks Speck! i don’t know, maybe the most friendly collage to date. i’m quite fond of some of the others though.

Me too. I think I’ve resisted ever saying that anywhere up ‘til now. I was just really struck by the sound quality, the separation, more distinguishable timbres etc. (that I’m guessing is because there’s less to separate).

i don’t know. there’s eight or nine tracks total, and the main one is a complete mix by BOCrew. i added two synth tracks, three vocal tracks, a bass track, and a guitar track. there may be another vocal or guitar track too.

maybe they just blended real well and made a nice thick mix. plus, the vocals pop out more like one is used to hearing.

I dreamed a scene for it.
The open-top luxury car and a blonde driver.
Car is going at the road of the Mediterranean sea shore.
Very nice track Septahelix , congrats ,

This is reminiscent of experimenting with a chemistry set, except that it is music, you’ve used.
In any case, with an amazing result. Excellent!

Way great! These vocals are just so much fine with a hysterical creepy feel, but the music has the great quality sound and feel. Fantastic atmosphere. Bravo!
