Beautifully emotive. Great backing music.

Thanks Speck! Using an airtone backing for an emotive song not too much can go wrong :)

Very heart wrenching :(
Stay safe, Scomber, hopefully the fires will be stopped soon.

We are luckier than most, lots of bush around here, still unburnt (touch wood while it is still there!)

Intensely touching… real, raw, but still hopeful. Please stay safe… 💗

Thank you Kara, found it difficult to stay away from the obvious cliches for the lyrics.

great track, nice use of the stems, hopefully it will summon the rain.

Ha, surely using a backing titled H2O will get it raining. Glad you picked up on the black humour :) Thanks again mate

Thank you for this important song, your heart-piercing words and beautiful vocal performance. What a shocking and terrifying thing, to be evacuated from your home, to be unable to breathe with ash in the air, to lose everything you own. Sending you love and support during this difficult time.

So far, Sarah and I have been very lucky. Apart from two months of choking smoke, the major fires have kept clear of our little piece of paradise at this stage. Fingers crossed but incredibly sad for those in a much worse position only a short drive away. Thank you Snowflake :)

I pray your little piece of paradise stays safe. So sorry for your friends’ losses.

From a “crate digger” to a “crate digger” the backing track was a master class choice. Total respect finding older stems.

As for the performance also golden! Exceptional. I’ve endured a fire that got…. Somewhat close in intensity years ago. So the things you speak of in these words I’ve seen them with my own eyes. Thankfully not the abundance of death. Hopefully things turn for the better.
