It appears that you are running the CCMixter Festival…and it’s a great tent to be entertained in. This is as cool as ice…Per is sounding fantastic in this “live” version from the marvelous mind of Scomber. Great stuff bro and I’m aware I still have another to listen to…lol

Hey Scombs. I’m streaming this to the car right now for the second time and am writing from my iPhone.
This is just great. A few minutes of escapism, pretending I’m a rock star and I must admit I personally think I sound great in this musical context you’ve created. For my return trip in a few hours, do you think you could post an alternate mix with my voice more upfront in the mix. I want to crash the speakers in the car and also impress a few friends with this track over the weekend. Usually I’m a bit ashamed hearing my sung voice. Not this time. Love & kisses from a highway rest area.

Alternative upfront mix posted. Not sure how it sounds. I spread and panned your vox in the original because it was fighting the guitars. After slowing your tempo down it seemed to sit in the same frequency range as the chorused guitar section so I pushed you a little left. Volume could be a little less in the new one.(so you dont blow up those BMW speakers)
Glad you like it mate. Rock on!

All this reminds me of the “Live at the ccm convention” stuff you did a few years ago which I enjoyed tremedously. Checked the alt. version in the car this morning. It’s much better to my ears. I love it.
As the lyric is quite angry, I actually tried to sound angry when I recorded the vocal, I even think the voice could have been increased a further one or two dB’s. If you have the energy to do so, please do. You don’t have to post it here, attached to an e-mail to timbermanmail at gmail dot com would do. I can easily live with this version but would be very glad if you did. Have a splendid weekend, pal.

Nicely done. Always interesting to hear timberman in different settings.
