brilliant. america is mad and naked, and you’ve exposed her in all of her confusion, sadness, corruption and potential glory. “song of myself” is one of my all-time favorite whitman poems. your vocals are rich and deep, and invoke much emotion and thought. the juxtaposition of your warm vocal with the wild rhythms and resounding trumpet reflect my own thoughts of america in her dark chapter. i pray for a dawn of evolution and your track gives me hope somehow. thank you. peace.

Thank you. I’ve had to do a lot of soul searching while gathering clips for this video. It’s so easy to take swipes and think, somehow, I’ve managed to rise above it all, but how can I when it is all around me? Thanks for hearing my intentions.

Great use of samples. Awesome and energetic mix. Wonder if I would be able to get back to sleep as it’s 8:06 am in the sunday morning here ;-)

grasp concept of self to see others embrace others to know self in breath and sight reflection is the light shown by time where will walk what shall we do so lost into mind find exit no time last chance hold up hands to grasp self only to fall walls closing in no breath to late can’t run can’t breathe …..silence…….this is an amazing cruise into mind flight indeed …….awesome …..peace

Wow. I’m gonna have to sit with this one a bit — heavy rhythmically, sonic-ally and thematically. And definitely feeling it. Bravo!

Yes. This had my mind racing through Allen Ginsberg’s “Howl”… Very provoking track.

When I was in college, our literary publication was called “Yawp!” from Walt Whitman. I liked it but was kind of embarrassed by it (I was editor a couple of years) and would have preferred “Howl” to “Yawp” any day. But that was when I was a pup and didn’t know any better!
