MC Jack in the Box 1203 Reviews	. permalink Mon, Sep 1, 2008 @ 11:01 PM ok, first of all production is pretty spot on so no beef from me there. i LOVE the patti smith like vibe you give to this, and frankly (and it’s just my humble opinion mind you) i wish you’d gone for a more straight up (albeit boring yes i know) beat, just a solid driving rock beat instead of the glitchy stuff. i’m not saying what you have here is in any way bad, it’s like putting mayo on fries. :) but i LOVE the patti smith like treatment, bass and guitar is great!

I really like how KH uses her vocals in a song and I wanted to emphasise the edginess of her vocal and the lyrics. The idea was to use the percussion to fit her performance. Not being protective here as I’m glad to have your input. Just explaining the reasoning behind the mix.
