I could just say here, “Que le temps ne se rattrape jamais” …. “that the time does never catches up.”
These simple words philosophical that repeated my father to me …. It was probably not a great philosopher, but now when I look behind me, I can only see, he was right ….

Really good backing track you’ve assembled here and a great vocal from Ciggi,
I never intended to grow old and it’s a constant surprise that I got this far.

Excellent mix, strong lyric and supportive setting. Love that persistent but vague memories ending.

Intense, merciless and a fateful truth! The outro is cleverly done and leaves no doubt about it all!
Great work

Thanks for this Panu! I knew you two where cooking something, but didn’t know what ;) And I’m very pleased with what I hear! And it’s very nice to be a part of this great performance

What a good pleasant track!!!
The guitar in the background is wonderful, and i love that slow end.
Really a stunning work

A little curiosity about the elderly age… In my little town, the elderly are weirdly healthy and happy… My grandma is 91 years old and it goes every day to drink his coffee at the pub, shopping etc. Some ita and usa pharmacologists in the ‘70, investigated “Limone sul Garda” (my town), and they created some meds that we are using today, discovering new proteins in our blood, that help much against cholesterol and other bad things. Maybe we are ufo :D lol

I’m no expert producer but I can hear this is one of your most skillfully tweaked compositions. Very dignified and responsive, sir.

a great mix - growing old may not be for sissies (well it certainly isn’t) and consequently this is not a sissy mix, great ideas well executed and many more

Great track. Clearly stimulating a lot of thoughtful response. I had something to say too…but I forgot what that might be… .gettin’ old I suppose.

A great listen. Before writing anything, I have heard several times, looking for (and finding) new shades. Congrats.
